Vehicle Simulation
Often, Proving Ground Testing is not the most effective means to assess or resolve vehicle durability or
squeak and rattle issues. Many durability test conditions are well-simulated using Real-Time Multi-Axis
Simulation or Vertical Four-Post Road Simulation.
When compared to a proving ground durability test, a Full Vehicle Laboratory Simulation is quicker, more
repeatable, and has the advantage of not requiring an operational powertrain while controlling vibration and
thermal input conditions simultaneously.
